Biography

Winnie is a busy bunny who loves having her space to run around. She’s very curious and loves to explore every nook and cranny. She’s quite independent when she’s out and about for exercise time but will stop to accept any food or snack you’re offering. 😛 When she’s tucked in and relaxing in her pen, she’ll soak up all the pets you can give her. 🩷 Winnie has come a long way in foster care with learning that humans can be nice to her but she still doesn’t love when hands approach her suddenly. Because of this she would do best with a rabbit savvy adopter who’s familiar with bunny body language.

Winnie had a rough life prior to coming to us and didn’t have access to a proper bunny diet, so she had a few points on her teeth that were burred down when she was in for her spay. We did xrays and her teeth actually weren’t that bad - she just had mild pathology affecting her roots and the above mentioned points on her teeth but nothing crazy. The good thing is that she loves her hay so that should help prolong any progression of her dental disease. She may need the occasional molar grind at a rabbit savvy vet in the future but the hope is that her new healthy habits will get her teeth on the right track!

Winnie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to find her forever home. She’s good with cats and dogs and would do best in a home with no young children. She would be a good candidate to bond to a neutral and loving boy bunny who wants a friend - she often grooms her blankets and stuffies and has previously lived with other rabbits, so a friend would really help her. 🥹
