GILBERT

Biography

Gilbert (aka Spinbert) is a tiny lop with a silly personality. He’s a curious little guy who loves exploring, running around, and showing off his signature spins. Being deaf and visually impaired doesn’t stop Gilbert’s curiosity, once he’s learned his surroundings, he confidently and happily explores every corner of his space!

Gilbert is known for his very fast spins, especially when he’s excited or happy. His spins are due to vestibular damage from chronic middle ear infections, but they've quickly become one of his most lovable quirks. When Gilbert is having fun, you’ll definitely know it by the speed of his spins!

When he’s not exploring, Gilbert is usually having a deep sleep in one of his fav spots. He seems to always find the most unexpected nap spots, like on the bottom of a bookshelf, tucked away in the closet, or right in the middle of a doorway. Once he’s settled in, he’ll wake for nothing, except the smell of treats!

His favourite snacks are leafy greens and bananas, however pretty much all tasty things are welcomed by Gilbert! He has a sassy side, but mostly he's a sweet, affectionate guy who will melt into gentle head pets at any opportunity. 

Gilbert takes a little extra time to get comfortable in new places, but once he does, he’s silly, curious and playful personality really shines… along with the occasional Spinbert show!
