FABLE

Biography

Fable was rescued from a neglect situation with 3 other rabbits. They were all kept in small, filthy cages and never socialized. Fable was "the least favourite" so she received the least attention out of all of them. :( 

Fable quickly settled into foster care and now enjoys having her own space, as well as soft cushions to lay on. She is a sassy girl who may be unsure of you at first, but once she warms up and is comfortable she'll snuggle right up next to you and melt for pets, especially if you have a treat for her! She also loves hopping about and exploring everything.

We're really proud of how far Fable has come as she used to be very nervous and unsure of people. Her foster mom has done a great job socializing her and showing her that humans are her friends. We didn't know if Fable would ever be a bunny that enjoyed human affection so it warms our hearts to see that she loves being petted now. 

Fable has sore hocks because of her breed (rexes are more prone to sore hocks due) and the poor conditions she was kept in, so she’ll need to be kept on super soft and squishy surfaces to help her feeties not get any worse. Currently she’s living on memory foam with soft towels/fleece blankets on top and we’d recommend that type of environment for her in her forever home, at least in her “home base” area. 

Fable lived with bunnies previously and would be a great candidate to bond with a shy and lonely bun! She has a bold and opinionated personality so she’d likely need a cool cucumber boyfriend to bond to.
