BUTTERNUT

Biography

Butternut is a sweet and curious boy who loves to eat, periscope for food, roam, lounge in the sun shining through the window, and binky and scoot around his people in circles to show off.  On rare occasions he’ll nibble a box or the corner of an unprotected rug, but he’s easily redirected when the nibbling isn’t welcome. When he’s done his activities, he’ll snuggle up beside you for some head pats and tooth purrs.

He also loves to follows humans up and down the stairs, and will stop mid stair sometimes to give said human a curious head tilt that implies “are you really going to make me do this again?  Why can’t you stay on one level?”

Since being neutered, he hasn’t had a single stray poop outside his litter box. His litter habits are excellent; even when he’s free-roam, he’ll go down two flights of stairs just to use the bathroom.
